Online couponing platform CouponDunia has partnered with leading FMCG companies and country's biggest grocery supermarkets to launch its in-store discount coupons in Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru.
The company will launch its 4th edition of offline FMCG coupons insert in leading newspapers on February 27, it said in a statement. Consumers can redeem the coupons for discount at CouponDunia's partner hypermarkets and supermarkets like Big Bazaar, HyperCity and Reliance Fresh in the three cities.
Amul, Heinz, Mother's Recipe, Cornitos, Reckitt Benckiser India, Unilever and P&G are some of the FMCG companies to have joined this couponing initiative.
"In India, consumers are still getting acquainted with couponing; however, with our constant efforts, we hope to inculcate couponing as a shopping habit in every household thus helping them to increase savings," said Sameer Parwani, founder and CEO of CouponDunia.
According to Damodar Mall, CEO-Grocery at Reliance Retail, deal coupons is another way by which brands can attract customer's attention. "So we are excited to partner with CouponDunia," he said.
CouponDunia is backed by Times Internet which also runs this portal. CouponDunia receives about 5.2 million visits a month, shares coupons from more than 2000 online brand and has more than 2 million app downloads. In the offline space, the company offers coupons from over 5000 restaurants across 8 Indian cities.
